Mind Pump Media started out as a podcast. The hosts, Sal, Adam and Justin, together with the producer Doug, share their insights about fitness, health or fat loss in almost daily shows. They really tell it as it is, debunking common myths, misunderstandings in order to help you figure out what works and what doesn’t. In this article, I introduce you to MAPS Prime Pro.
MAPS Prime Pro is not your typical gym workout. It’s a tool to help you assess and enhance your mobility, figure out muscular imbalances and correct them:
“MAPS Prime Pro is a program created in conjunction with movement specialist Dr. Justin Brink and is designed to help ANYONE self-assess their movement and imbalances and design a customized correctional plan to improve function and overcome pain. You will be taught how to incorporate mobility training for every single body part, from your hands down to your ankles. Leading to increased performance, better muscle recruitment patterns, less injury, and overall better physique and posture.”
Why am I reviewing MAPS Prime Pro?
The reason I did this review, is because people kept asking me about my thought about it. Does it work? How was it? Is it fun? Can you actually get stronger? Is it worth the money?
After repeating myself a few times, I decided to review the MAPS programs. I have a playlist with all of them on youtube: Mind Pump Review Playlist
Just to be clear: this review is my personal opinion. No one paid me to do it. I received no incentive to write this article or recording the video.
MAPS Prime Pro Review
In the review, I tackle all the questions mentioned above, and more. If you are intrigued, have a look and make sure to give my video a like and share your thoughts in the comments too. I will share more videos in the future and would love to see you around, so make sure to subscribe to my channel.
You will learn everything about MAPS Prime Pro in my YouTube review, but here are a few highlights of the program:
MAPS Prime Pro is an assessment tool containing:
- the Prime Compass,
- with tests divided into 7 zones (from neck to toes),
- a simple fail or path assessmentt,
- many exercises to work on and enhance your mobility and
- repatterning movements.
In MAPS Prime you start of with the compass test, doing the wall, windmill and squat test. You can either pass or fail it. My recommendation is when in doubt, fail the test and work with the tools provided by the program. It’s not going to hurt you.
More you can find out in my review. I hope this gets you excited to watch my review!
