I’ve been asked from a view on my YouTube channel to share my training goals for 2022. This was an interesting idea, especially as I actually have mapped out specific goals for this year. You can watch the video with my training goals for 2022 on my YouTube channel.

My training goals 2022
Here is also an overview of my training goals plus two additional ones.
- Get bigger and stronger. This means on the scale to get closer to 90kg lean BW
- Compete in at least 1 powerlifting meet (I already signed up for a meet in May!)
- Deadlift 200kg for more than 1 rep
- Squat 200kg
- Bench press 100kg for sets of 5
- OHP 85kg
On top of that I would like to work on the following two goals:
- Train 10 people and get them bigger/leaner/stronger
- Keep adding helpful content on Youtube and Instagram.
SMART goals
These goals are very specific to the sport of powerlifting. In order to actually develop meaningful goals, I use the SMART goals system. SMART means:
- Smart
- Measurable
- Achievable
- Realistic
- Timely
This is an easy system to great goals that make sense and you can actually fulfil. Nothin is frustrating to miss out on unrealistic goals.
I’ll share a lot more details and thoughts about all of these goals in my video. I, therefore, encourage you to give it a watch.
Happy lifting!
