Mind Pump Media started out as a podcast. The hosts, Sal, Adam and Justin, together with the producer Doug, share their insights about fitness, health or fat loss in almost daily shows. They really tell it as it is, debunking common myths, misunderstandings in order to help you figure out what works and what doesn’t. In this article, I introduce you to MAPS Prime.
MAPS Prime is not your typical gym workout. It’s a tool to help you assess and enhance your mobility and bring your actual training session to a higher level. In the words of Mind Pump Media it sounds like this:
“MAPS Prime is a program designed to noticeably amplify the benefits and results of your existing workouts through mobility training and exercises. It acts as your Pre/Intra/Post workout supplement by customizing mobility sessions to your own body and teaching you how to implement them into your current workout routine. Before you get started, you will be given 3 tests based off the PRIME COMPASS. The PRIME COMPASS drives your body into three zones – WALL TEST, WINDMILL TEST, and SQUAT TEST. Each zone consists of a simple/Fail test that will guide you on how to customize and use MAPS Prime for your greatest benefit. By “priming” your body, your results will be dramatically more noticeable.”
Why am I reviewing MAPS Prime?
The reason I did this review, is because people kept asking me about my thought about it. Does it work? How was it? Is it fun? Can you actually get stronger? Is it worth the money?

You will learn everything about MAPS Prime in my YouTube review, but here are a few highlights of the program:
MAPS Prime is an assessment tool containing:
- the Prime Compass,
- the Wall Test,
- the Windmill Test,
- the Squat Test,
- many exercises to work on and enhance your mobility,
- movements to prime for your compound lifts and
- a small training blueprint to work on failed parts of the compass test.
In MAPS Prime you start with the compass test, doing the wall, windmill and squat test. You can either pass or fail it. My recommendation is when in doubt, fail the test and work with the tools provided by the program. It’s not going to hurt you.
